Highlights
The M/V Maldives Aggressor II is a world-class liveaboard yacht scheduling year-round diving cruises to the stunning Maldives Atolls. She caters to 22 guests in 11 staterooms, each complete with a private en-suite bathroom and shower, closet, hair dryer, individual climate control, and TV/DVD. There are 4 deluxe staterooms and 1 suite with ocean views located on the main and upper decks and six standard twin cabins located on the lower deck. The large indoor lounge and dining room are fully air-conditioned and is where the onboard menu featuring a variety of American fare and local cuisine is served. Soft drinks, iced tea, beer, and wine are complimentary. Guests can also enjoy the large partially covered sundeck with chaise lounges and deck chairs, bar service, and a CD/stereo player.
The Maldives Aggressor II itineraries explore the turquoise waters of the Maldivian Atolls, packed with marine life such as grouper, snapper, surgeonfish, eels, parrotfish, Napoleon wrasse, barracuda, sharks, eagle rays, and whale sharks. Divers can choose 3 exciting itineraries covering all the best dive sites depending on the time of year. Diving amenities include a large swim platform with personal gear lockers, air/nitrox fill stations, rinse tanks, a three-tier camera table with low-pressure air hoses, and 2 warm freshwater showers, and nitrox is available for those certified.

Don’t go on the Aggressor franchise…
The most disappointing trip and worse value for money. The staff was nice, but the CD was mostly guided by a couple books rather than knowledge of Maldives and his own experience, and he was constantly pacing, nervous and not understanding- all things you don’t want of a CD. We were misguided on several occasions by the CD and DMs, and they provided very little use throughout the trip. The overall boat operation related to diving was mediocre at best. On top of it, Maldives has suffered lots of coral bleaching and overtourism (scuba included) which made the diving itself not half as good as it was 5 years ago.

Great diving with Maldives Aggressor
Great liveaboard experience in the beautiful Maldives! Excellent crew and professional dive guides. And soo many sharks and mantas! The only slight minus point was that many of dive sites were quite crowded - maybe different dive operators could improve their coordination and scheduling for a more better experience?

Great boat, some great dives.
Cabin was spacious and comfortable. Diving was good, some absolutely spectacular dives, some pretty average. Lots of sharks, mantas. Overall, was very satisfied with the trip, would recommend.

See everything you ever wanted to see on this trip from small to large up close and personal!
This was my first liveaboard but will not be my last was a little afraid of motion sickness but the trip was mostly smooth. Was able to see everything that was expected manta rays galore eagle rays eels whale shark nurse shark lemon shark nudies guitar shark!

Our best live aboard experience ever! Personalized service and attitude from Abraham/Cruise Director, dedicated and experienced dive guides (huge shout out to Easy who led our group) and never ending delicious food. Unforgettable Maldives Experience
This was the best live aboard I have been on. The dive guides made sure every dive was memorable and safe, we saw a hammer head shark and night diving with manta rays were the highlights of the trip. Will definitely book again.

An amazing first liveaboard experience
What an amazing trip! It was my first liveaboard and I’m not sure how I will ever top this trip. The entire crew was amazing and held safety to the highest standard. The dive guides/boat crew were attentive and knew the dive sites very well. The food was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were much more spacious than anticipated and the dive dhoni was very spacious as well, making getting to each dive site very comfortable. The dive sites were amazing, lots of sharks and mantas! From the initial pick up at the airport till the very end of the trip things were efficient, organized, and easy. Thank you to the Aggressor II for an amazing trip.
